IF YOU REMEMBER, THE LIGHTS WERE 50 YEARS OLD FROM THE ORIGINAL STADIUM, AND WE SWAPPED OUT ALL THE POLES AND THE LIGHTS AND BROUGHT IN NEW LED LIGHTING. AND THEN WE DID ALL THAT LAST YEAR, THE CONCRETE WORK AND THE LIGHTING. AND THEN THIS YEAR YOU HAD APPROVED THE NEW ARTIFICIAL TURF SYSTEM FOR $754,317. AND THAT IS UNDERWAY. NEXT. JAMES, PLEASE. THIS WAS AN OLD PICTURE OF SOME OF THE CONCRETE WORK RIGHT BEFORE YOU GO INTO THE STADIUM. AND THEN THERE'S ALL THE COMBINATIONS NATIONS THEREOF. ON THAT MATRIX, ON THAT SPREADSHEET THAT I GAVE YOU AND YOU HAD LAST TIME. SO WHEN I CALLED THEM AND THIS IS ONE OF THE NUMBERS TOWARDS THE BOTTOM THAT THE GEO FABRIC WAS INCLUDED IN THE BID PROPOSAL FOR THE PRECISION TURF SPORTS FIELD SAID, NO, WE DIDN'T INCLUDE THAT BECAUSE IT WASN'T IN YOUR SPEC AND WE WEREN'T GOING TO INCLUDE IT IF IT WASN'T IN THERE. BUT WE AGREE WITH THE FACT THAT TO DO IT RIGHT, YOU NEED TO DO THIS. AND SO THEY TOLD ME IT WAS 60,000, 20,000 A FIELD TO PUT THAT IN THERE AND REALLY MAKE SURE YOU DO IT RIGHT. SO WE HAVE THAT PRICE. AND THEN BASED ON THE DRAWING THAT I ATTACHED WITH YOU, THE, THE, THE ASTROTURF WOULD BE ON THE PLAYING, THE PLAYING FIELD AND THEN TEN FEET OUTSIDE. AND THAT'S STANDARD INDUSTRY STANDARD IS THEY DO THE LINES AND THEN TEN FOOT OUTSIDE THE LINE. AND SO THEN BOTH OF THOSE PRECISION TURF AND SPORTS FIELDS QUOTED THAT, AND IT WAS 60,984 FOR PRECISION TURF. BECAUSE THEY HAD THEY HAD THE LOWEST PRICES ON THE NATURAL GRASS FOR EVERYTHING. I KIND OF FIGURED OUT WHY NOW IS THAT. IF YOU'RE AWARE THE UNITED STATES SOCCER, LIKE THE OLYMPIC SOCCER TRAINING, IS MOVING TO FAYETTEVILLE OR FAYETTE COUNTY FOR THE ENTIRE U.S. SOCCER TRAINING FACILITY IS MOVING TO FAYETTEVILLE, FAYETTE COUNTY. AND THEY'RE BUILDING, LIKE, 15 FIELDS OR SOMETHING THERE FOR TRAINING US SOCCER IN PRECISION TURF ACTUALLY WON THAT CONTRACT. AND THAT A BUNCH OF THOSE OUTER FIELDS THAT ARE FOR PRACTICING, THEY'RE DOING GRASS. AND SO THEIR NATURAL GRASS PRICES VERY LOW BECAUSE THEY BASICALLY BOUGHT A WHOLE GRASS FARM IN ORDER TO SUPPLY THE US SOCCER THING IN FAYETTEVILLE. SO THAT'S ONE OF THE REASONS WHY THEIR NATURAL GRASS PRICE IS SO LOW, I FOUND OUT, WAS BECAUSE THEY BASICALLY BOUGHT A WHOLE FARM IN ORDER TO SUPPLY THE US SOCCER TRAINING IN FAYETTEVILLE. PRETTY INTERESTING. SO ANYWAY, SO WE HAVE THE DIFFERENT PRICES THERE. IF YOU REMEMBER ON HERE, SPRINT TURF TO THE FAR LEFT, THEY ONLY BID THE, THE ARTIFICIAL. AND SO AND WE KNOW WE GOTTA HAVE BOTH. WELL THEY ONLY BID THE NATURAL GRASS AND THEIRS WASN'T THE LOW BID ON THE NATURAL, SO WE KIND OF RULED THEM OUT. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BID ON THE ARTIFICIAL ANYWAYS WHICH IS FINE. THEY CHOSE NOT TO. THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE, THE ADVANCED SPORTS GROUP. THEY BID EVERYTHING, BUT THEY WERE THE HIGHEST PRICE ON EVERYTHING, SO WE KIND OF RULED THEM OUT. AND THEN THE EVERGREEN SITE WORKS. THEY HAD COMPETITIVE PRICING, BUT THEY HAVE ACTUALLY NEVER DONE A SPORTS FIELD YET. THEY ARE A GRADING AND SITE CONTRACTOR. IF YOU GO TO THEIR WEBSITE, IT SHOWS ALL BULLDOZERS, GRADING SITE WORK, STORM WATER, PARKING LOTS UTILITY WORK. AND WHEN I CALLED THEM, THEY SAID, YEAH, WE JUST STARTED THIS DIVISION. THIS WOULD BE OUR FIRST PROJECT IF WE GET IT OR WE'RE BIDDING OTHERS RIGHT NOW. BUT SO I KIND OF THEY HAD COMPETITIVE PRICING, BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO BE THE GUINEA PIG. AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE BEST, BEST PRICING ON EVERYTHING. SO THAT LEFT US WITH THE PRECISION TURF AND THE SPORTS FIELDS. AND THEN DEPENDING ON WHAT COMBINATION WE GO, THE HIGHLIGHTED, THE YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED IS THE, THE CHEAPEST PRICE FOR THE DIFFERENT OPTION DEPENDING ON WHAT OPTION. THE STAFF RECOMMENDATION, WHICH WE TALKED ABOUT AT THE LAST MEETING, WAS WE WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GO WITH THE ALL THREE FIELDS, ARTIFICIAL GRASS WHICH WOULD REALLY MINIMIZE OUR, OUR LONG TERM MAINTENANCE, WHICH LANCE CAN SPEAK ABOUT. AND HE DID LAST TIME ABOUT HOW THAT WOULD BE OVER, I THINK $1 MILLION DURING THE LIFE OF THE OF OF THE WHICH WHICH WE THINK, YOU KNOW, WE'VE GOT ABOUT TEN YEARS OUT OF THE CALLAWAY STADIUM TURF ALL, ALL THESE TIMES TEN YEARS. AND THEREFORE OUR ULTIMATE RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE ALSO THE FACT THAT THE ASTROTURF IS NOT ASTROTURF, BUT ARTIFICIAL TURF. IT GIVES US MUCH MORE FLEXIBILITY TO HAVE MORE USES SOCCER, FOOTBALL, LACROSSE, FLAG FOOTBALL, YOU NAME IT. IT GIVES US FLEXIBILITY. IT ALLOWS YOU TO USE IT YEAR ROUND BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A GROWING SEASON. IT'S MUCH MORE PLAYABLE. YOU CAN PLAY FIVE MINUTES AFTER IT RAINS. AND SO IT GIVES US FLEXIBILITY.
